I went there today
Where your soul dwells
The green/gray and blue
The splashes and swells
And there you were with me
Beneath each wave
Where mermaids dwell
The water we crave
Each droplet holds blessings
Our cells in delight
We are rocked and embraced
Self love has such might
So back to the water
We’re drawn day by day
The mermaids surround us
They whisper and pray
From ages and eons
We females have had
The water, the birthing
Of life – happy/sad
So dear friend
True mermaid
I want you to know
The water around us
Will let all love grow
